Here is a quick and simple dessert recipe that has a fraction of the calories as a traditional apple pie recipe. By using sweet fresh apples you will hardly notice that it’s low-calorie dessert. You can use any apple variety you like, or use a couple different ones for some color variation.
Ingredients:
- 1-20 ounce can crushed pineapple
- 1 package sugar-free instant butterscotch pudding
- 1 cup fat-free cool whip
- 8 chopped apples
Directions:
Prepare sugar-free butterscotch pudding as directed and mix in the pineapple. Fold in cool-whip. Add chopped apples and stir until apples are well coated. Serve or refrigerate until needed.
